I’m Beth, a former city dweller who fell head over heels for backyard chickens. What started as a blog about slow living has grown into something I’m truly passionate about: helping chicken keepers raise happy, healthy flocks with confidence.
Whether you’re just getting started or you’re a seasoned keeper, you’ll find practical guides, honest advice, and products I’ve personally tested right here.

I designed this coop to be practical, functional, and easy to manage for everyday chicken keeping.
My husband built it. I tested it. Then we turned the entire build into detailed digital plans so you can confidently create the same coop for your flock.
